Kaitlyn’s passion for helping individuals with disabilities began when she was at University, when she was fortunate enough to volunteer and work with a number of individuals with physical and neurological disabilities. She saw what positive impact she could make by supporting others to achieve their goals of living a happier, more functional life. While at University, Kaitlyn completed her honours research project assessing training load for adolescent swimmers with Cerebral Palsy.
Kaitlyn is passionate about assisting people with disabilities reach their optimal level of health and independence while empowering them to challenge their preconceived limits. Motivating and encouraging kids with disabilities and building relationships with them and their families is why Kaitlyn is driven to work in this field. Developing her knowledge of neurological conditions, learning new ways to improve function and the challenge and diversity that neuro brings is what Kaitlyn loves most about her job. She also loves using her creativity to engage kids in fun and functional ways.
In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys hanging at the beach, surfing, hiking, camping and spending time with friends and family
